"schnitzel?" he echoed in question, his ears drooping in confusion. what was that? the way the sneasel described it made it sound quite delicious, and everything else just caused his stomach to gurgle once more with more ferocity. he did not know what some of those foods were, probably because he was picky as a child, but they sounded really good right about now. "do they serve that in town?" he hummed, drumming his fingers on his abdomen. he kind of wanted to try it now, but that might just be his hunger and fatigue talking.
"i like... sweets. anything with sugar in it. chocolates, candies, pastries... i don't have a very healthy diet." it was a wonder how he was able to sleep so much without a sugar rush. or maybe it was the crash that allowed him to sleep for as long as he does. he softly chuckled to himself. then he fell quiet, removing his hands from his abdomen and splaying them on the grass. the abra curled his claws around the blades of green. |

"Yeah, Schnitzel. You know... like... cut vegetables into tiny pieces, press them into one mass, coat it with breadcrumbs and barbecue it until it is cross like a toast! It is simply... ambrosial." Van responded to Replica's dumbfoundedness with a certain passion. However, nobody served it thus far, which kinda saddened the Sneasel. "No, all inns only serve drinks. After all of this is over, I should probably open a real restaurant to enrich everyone's lifes with Schnitzels." He more or less jokingly suggested to himself. It was simply a perfect meal.
Sweets? They were alright, at least in small dosis. Van didn't like too much swee at once, and always needed an additional taste like hearty or bitter to accompany it. "A bit sweet at times is fine." Van responded, not really having an answer. The diet of the Abra was his responsibility, not Van's. "Fruits are sweet and healthy." Van suggested to at least help the Abra a little bit.

oh? oh that did sound good. "if you do make that restaurant, i'll be your first customer. you can count on that." what? he wanted to try it. he didn't care that the sneasel was joking; he was serious. he would probably try any food that was placed in front of him, though. erm, other than anything with carrots in it. his picky eater would come out and have him move all the carrots to the side and eat around it.
replica drew his feet inward, pushing up his legs and letting the book slide down onto his abdomen. he picked up the book, hugging it close to his chest and rolling onto his side so he was no longer speaking to the sky but instead vanitas. "fruit is for first waking up. mother used to serve it to me with toast, but, ever since moving into the guild, it's been whatever they were serving when i woke up." which, considering his sleeping schedule, that was often whatever leftovers they had from lunch or dinner. every now and again he would simply swipe an apple and a slice of bread from the mess hall and call that his breakfast.
now that he thought about it, maybe that was why he ran out of energy so fast. |

"Most appreciated." Van responded to Replica's offer of becoming his first hypothetical customer. Well, now he had an actual impetus to maybe open a restaurant after all; at least once this was all over.
Now, the Abra was directly facing Vanitas, which did not really affect the conversation at all. But Vanitas now too sat down. All the standing was exhausting, and the grass was welcoming and soft. "Guild food is usually very nutritious." Van commented; after all, the members had to function properly.

just because it was nutritious did not mean it tasted nice. health food. bleh. the abra pushed himself up, letting out another yawn that he failed to contain this time. he kept one hand firmly around the book, keeping it close to his chest, while his other pushed against the ground. he wobbled as he stood, holding out his free arm in an attempt to regain his balance. "i should, ah, go." he was running on empty, and he needed to return his mother's book before she noticed it was missing. he turned his head to look at the sneasel, giving him a soft smile. "thank you for chatting with me, vanitas." he gave an unsteady bow. "i hope we meet again." with that, he stood up straight and began following the river back into town. well, he tried, at the very least. he nearly tripped and fell back into the river before he managed to regain his balance after clawing at the air.
he needed a nap.
ooc: figured we should wrap up this meeting for now. <3 |

Van simply shrugged. He managed to enjoy the food of the guild. The Abra wished to leave? So be it. "Thank you too for the conversation, Replica. Hope as well to see you around." Van responded, immitating Replica's slight bow out of respect. Watching the Abra leave, Vanitas too made his way to where he belonged, unknowing that he would meet another Pokemon right away.
(OOC: Sure, it was fine ^^)
