Victoria sighed contentedly as she removed the closed sign from the wooden front door of her comfy inn. Turning her nimble body around, her long purple tail swishing the air as she did so, Tori examined the inside of her inn. Everything was perfect; the cushions were plump, the tables were straight and clean, the fireplace was clear of ash and her bar counter shone like a polished gem.
She purred with pleasure and moved herself behind the counter, small paws tapping quietly. Reaching upwards, Tori took down one of the spare glasses and made herself busy by cleaning it up a bit more with a clean white rag. Victoria did not expect a large turnout, quite the opposite in fact, but it made her feel better knowing tht she was prepared.

A new inn, a new opportunity to meet pokemon... but also another cell in the fog prison. Van had never seen this particular pokemon before. He knew it was a Purrloin, but he did not know this particular Purrloin. But one thing was certain. This particular Purrloin freshly opening her inn was... just... gorgeous. It was probably the most beautiful pokemon he had ever encountered. It was just something about her that made her look outstandingly well. Though he wondered if her personality was the same radiant.
The inn definetly looke cuddly, and sweet place to rest in and just relax with some friends. And a bar... okay... that was fine, too. Never had a good opinion of inebriation but whatever.
Van entered the inn through the wooden door, silently but with curiosity. Approaching the counter, he wondered if there were any seats, but for now, he just stood on the other site, gazing at Victoria.
"I wish you a good day, Miss. I saw you've opened this actually quite inviting place, so I wondered what you offer to sell? Oh, where are my manners, I am the Sneasel called Vanitas, Van for short." He introduced himself with a amicable tone.

Victoria twitched an ear as she turned her green gaze from the glass to the cute sneasel who had arrived. Whilst he spoke, she placed the glass down on the counter and folded up the rag to place next to it. "It is nice to meet you Vanitas. My name is Victoria the purrloin but you can call me Tori." She spoke cheerfully, gesturing to her lithe body as she proclaimed her species, as if it wasn't obvious. "I hope that you have had a pleasant day as well." As for what she sold, Victoria her head over her purple shoulder and glanced at the various kegs and bottles alligned on the shelf. "And I sell drinks such as; Banana Marshmallow, Peardrop Brandy, Rainbow Apple, Pineapple Dance, Daredevil's Dare..." She trailed off as she mentioned the last brand, shivering slightly as she remembered what happened when somebody drank too much. "I try not to sell the last one."

There was moment for which Felix really didn't feel like going into such a new place, but in that spur of a moment, he went in anyways and took one leisurely glance around the place. His eyes stopped on two Pokemon - a Purrloin, of whom was talking about the whole place, and a Sneasel who was inquiring about the Inn. How boring. Rolling his eye's, the Outlaw shifted closer to listen to the Purrloin.
She introduced herself as Victoria (which sparked up some particularly fun ideas of how to anger via name-calling) and went on o talk about a few boring drinks of which had no spark to his interest - well, except for the last one. And he wanted it. Mind racing on some crafty ideas of how to snatch one, he wondered out loud, a dashign grin poked onto his face. "Aaaand... Do you make these on the spot?"

Leaning slightly on the counter, Van focused on listening to the Purrloin-miss. Though he wondered what the rag was for; probably to prevent water stains on the counter. "Nice to meet you too, Tori." He responded calmly, yet slightly amused by are overexagurated though indeed well manners. He just smiled when she wished him a good day.
Kegs and bottles, eh? Another drink-selling inn? Why did pokemon restaurant owners despise solid food so much? Hehe. Though he listened to what she said about the drinks, he did not know a thing. "Apologies, I don't know any of these drinks. Though... Rainbow Apple sounds sweet and Daredevil's Dare sounds like a spicy challenge I would accept one day." He more or less joked. He did not knew, so he just guessed by the title.
He turned his head to stare at the Buizel. He did not know him, but he had heard about an outlaw Buizel. But... was it him? Hard to say, after all, that very Buizel innitiated a conversation with both of them. Didn't appear harmful. Heck, he was even interested in the Daredevil's Dare. "Well, we got a challenger. I recommend to have a 'pay first then get' - policy around this place though. This town isn't perfect." He more or less joked casually, hoping that the Purrloin would get the hint.

Felix took a glance to the side, eyes landing on the dark-colored Sneasel of whom also cast a glance on him. He was careful not to let his eyes narrow, as to lower any suspicion that the Sneasel might have, instead forcing a friendly smile to him. It was better to lay low and then dash when things got bad. He knew some knew him around Andalusst, and frankly, he didn't want to get jailed by anyone.
So, instead, his eyes turned to the Purrloin, continuing to enact his facade of happiness and friendliness as he took a step forward. "Ah, yes, this town is crawling with bad Pokemon..." His eyes momentarily went to Vanitas before returning to Victoria. "It's better to keep your goods safe from some buffoon stealing and chatting you." He finished, adding another dashing grin.
And so, the Buizel moved forwards, his two propeller-esque tails twirling and lashing as if in excitement for the thing he was about to do. Reaching into a small bag he kept, he pulled out a few fake Poke, craftily made by a few fellow outlaws of which he always kept around. They were virtually useless, but if you looked at them long enough, you could tell that they were forged. Sitting on one of the seats, lent his face on his paws and dropped the fake coins on the table. "Hey, mind getting me a Daredevil's Day?" He purposely messed up the name, confusing to grin. It was almost creepy by this point, as some of his upper canines were beginning to show.

Victoria had quietly been listening to the two pokemon chat quietly, nodding slightly when need be. She had taken down another glass from the same shelf and had begun to clean it with another rag, one of a bright red colour. When Vanitas hinted that some pokemon in this town were more or less 'bad apples', and when Felix confirmed it; Tori turned her grass-green gaze upwards from the glass to the two males. The buizel's attitude and his rather cheeky grin triggered alarms in her mind, she had once lived with five brothers that were almost always up to something. With a small paw, she scooped the coins off the table counter and into her other paw. "Yes, I do make these on the spot and one Daredevil's Dare coming up." She spoke cheerfully, ignoring his harmless mistake of the name.
As soon as she had turned around to put the coins in a small box that was placed underneath the bar shelves; she reached up and grabbed a bottle of Daredevil's Dare. It was black in colour and had a warning label on the front listing side effects of drinking too much like; dizziness, nausea, burning sensation, etc... Thankfully, the purrloin knew what she was doing and poured out a safe amount into the glass she had been cleaning with a red rag. Something was up with those coins, she thought, and this buizel. However she did not want to call him out, oh no, something much more fun was in mind. Sneakily, Victoria added half a bottle of ghost pepper essence and three cheri berries. She winced slightly as she stirred up the concoction with a spoon, feeling sorry for the unfortunate soul who was to drink this liquid fire.
Turning around to the said unfortunate soul, she placed the drink down in front of the buizel; hiding her smirk with the stealth of her species. "Here you go sir, one Daredevil's Dare."

The pokemon named Felix just smiled at him. Either a bizarre simpleton or a fiend, hard to tell these days. After all, that Abra was awkward as well, but turned out nice. Felix came closer and continued to talk to Victoria. Crawling with bad pokemon was a bit of an exaguration, there were simply some bad apples for some reason. They were probably the cause for the fog, so Van despised them with a passion. Wait, was he gazing at him? Van was not evil. More like an anti-hero, more hero even so. But oh well, Felix paid for his drink so... everything seemed fine. What a creep.
The drink looked black. If it tasted like Cola-beans Van wondered. Nah, probably something more intense than that, but it appeared delicious. Before ordering something, he would wait for Felix to take a nip. "What does it taste like?" He asked Felix with certain curiosity.

He watched her make it hastily, his grin prevailing and eyes kept still on the drink she was preparing. He didn't doubt her one bit, even if he didn't trust her, so didn't suspect her putting anything shifty in the drink, especially not ghost pepper and other burning berries. He accepted it graciously, looking into the concotion and watching as some of it sloshed about in it's container, spilling onto the counter a bit.
Glancing back towards the Sneasel, he resisted sending a glare to him, instead taking a cautious sip of the drink. It took awhile, but instantly, his mouth took onto the path of a burning sensation. He bit his tongue as it flared up in extreme pain, biting back a few yelps as the fire only intensified in his mouth. He momentarily glanced back towards the Sneasel, frowning.
"Much too spicy - I don't recommend it." He responded, sitting up from his chair and leaving the drink there, just glad he didn't drink too much so that he would feel the after-effects for a few hours or so. Breathing out something, he turned back to the Shopkeeper, flashing her a shifty grin. "I think you need to improve on your drink-making, you aren't going to get any frequent customers with something like that." With that, he walked from the Inn, although his steps soon turned into stomps once outside.

Well, the drink was apparently super-spicy. Van loved the taste of spice. It appeared to really hurt Felix, which was kind of amusing. Always funny to see someone perform a weird dance because of spice or certain types of minor pain. The glare and frown towards Van by Felix were however quite unnecessary. No reason to be angry, she warned them. "She warned you. Super-Spicy? Sounds good to me!" Van responded in a simple-hearted fashion when Felix stood up and left, more or less insulting Victoria and stomping away.
"Jerk..." He whispered, just loud enough for Tori to hear. Turning to Victoria he scratched his head. "He left a tiny mess on the counter. Mind if I try out the drink? Spicy is my favorite taste!" Van responded with eagerness to challenge himself. He had tested out a lot of things, and harbanero-sauce was one of things he still managed to overcome. It wasn't really a taste, but a challenge.

Victoria had been smirking whilst Felix was in view but as soon as he left her inn she began to chuckle devilishly. She turned her shiny green gaze to Vanitas. "If I am perfectly honest, he tried to give me fake coins so I... altered the main recipe a bit." She sniggered again, covering her mouth with a nimble purple paw. "Do you want the original recipe or the one I gave him?" Victoria asked, nodding her head towards the doorway through which the buizel had stormed off. As she waited for the sneasel's answer, she took out the red wag and swiftly wiped away the small spillage left behind by the burning mixture.
Reaching to the shelf behind her, she grabbed the black bottle of the liquor but also lined up the berries and essence she had added to Felix's drink; just in case the sneasel was really brave enough to take on the challenge. Frowning slightly in thought, she pulled out a carton of ice-cold milk from one the cupboards which was cooled through the use of some Never Melt Ice that a kindly Froslass has gifted her with. An unusual way to keep things cool but Victoria preferred it to other methods. The purrloin pulled out two other glasses; one she filled with cold milk, she had found out that milk tended to cool down your mouth better than water, and the other she left empty for Vanitas's choice.
Victoria picked up the glass that Felix had left behind, poured its contents down the drain and began to clean it out with the damp white rag she had been using earlier.

So he was the criminal Buizel after all. Should have figured, but Van had no evidence. Well, now he has, counterfit poke; what an amateur. Man, this Purrloin was nobody to mess with. Quite a lot of chuzpe for such a gracious lady, but then again, it made her only better. "Yeah, I meant this special version for the Buizel." Van responded, taking the glass into his paws and gazing at it with certain curiosity. "You want payment for that?" He asked her, further analyzing the black spicy juice inside the glass. Then however, Purrloin pulled out the original baverage with the spicy ingredients. Shoosh... that was some strong stuff in there. His question from before became meaningless due to Victoria pulling out a new bottle.
"Ghost pepper, eh? 3 times as hot as Harbaneo. Challenge accepted." Van said with a daring, slight smuck gaze on his face. Yes, he wanted to test that extreme stuff out. He loved spicy, so it was only natural to him to test out something almost off limits. She already pulled out the milk in case. But before, Van wanted to test the normal version.
"Before you mix, a sip of the standard version please. Wanna know what it tastes like before I only sense the hotness on my tongue." Van requested. Smiling at the Purrloin, he leaned slightly on the counter and held his pocket ready. "How much poke, Victoria?"

Victoria smiled at the sneasel's bravery. It was charming and rather attractive. She just prayed that he wasn't in too over his head. "Its about 20 for alcohol." She spoke clearly, pulling out a second smaller glass at his request to try the original mixture before its evolution to the extreme. However, she paused in thought and replaced the glass. Both the drinks he would be tasting were spicy and pretty much the same so there was no need to waste a clean glass. With the speed of a professional, Victoria poured out some of the black liquid on its own into the empty glass; careful not to spill any on the clean surface of her counter. The purrloin paused again, thinking lightly with a flick of her long violet tail. "I'm not to be blamed for any damages done though," she spoke with a light chuckle, a teasing smile played upon her lips, "however I doubt you will succumb to the drink's evil." She over-exaggerated the last part of her sentence, raising her paw against her forehead dramatically.

The serenity of the situation between him and Victoria was quite... balm for the soul. Everything was always so serious, always about the fight against the fog and its terrible influence over both good and villainous pokemon. But this dark-type pokemon was just another pokemon. Despite her type, she had an aura of blissful harmony as Replica would probably describe it. It simply made Vanitas smiled, something he rarely did. Without hesitation, he put the 20 poke on the counter. Seemed like a decent price to him. And there it already was, the semi-empty glass of the Daredevil's Dare. "I take full responsibility. If the evil of the fog can't conquer my heart, neither this drink will. Besides, I wield darkness without fear." He responded in a similar humorous tone. Before he took the drink, he clenched one of his claws, trying to channel dark energy around it... though it faded away in a mere second. "At least... one day.... I will master Night Slash, hehe." Van continued, scratching his head with a grin in slight pudency. Van just shook his head as a gesture to repond to her own gesture, the same warm smile still gracing his face. He took the sip of the standard version from the glass, drinking it up in one fellow swoop. Yeah... he did not like the alcoholic taste of it, but the spice was more than enough from him to somewhat like the drink. Briefly after he drank up, he took a few deep breaths through his mouth to distract himself from the hotness. "Can't say I like ethanol, but this drink got a heavy kick in it." Van commented on the drink. After some cooling of his tongue, he had officially overcome the challenge. He liked spicy food, and the drink itself wasn't as extreme as harbanero. But... with the ghost pepper, it would be at least 3 times as extreme.

Victoria had smiled at Vanitas's seemingly poetic claim of responsibility. She had not met many other dark types like this sneasel, and it was very refreshing as well as comforting to know that she wasn't the only one aligned with those who fought against the chaos. Well, I don't do much fighting, she thought as she glanced around the comforting layout of her inn. From what she had heard, there was even some fairy pokemon fighting for the chaos. It unnerved the purrloin sometimes, to think that anybody could become anything; dangerous or safe. "I will cheer for your mastery, I doubt I'll be able to master a move. I am not quite one for fighting." She chuckled. She grinned as she gently took back the glass when he had downed the less spicy version of the drink. "There aren't many pokemon that like alcohol but it can be a pick me up if used correctly." She purred, raising an eyebrow at the sneasel as she asked her coming question. Although most businesses didn't, Victoria would refuse to give a customer an alcoholic drink if she felt that they were emotionally unstable. It would have disastrous effects on such pokemon. "Ready for its older brother?" Victoria asked, referring to the drinks as family. Albeit a fiery one.
